Zyagen offers high quality mouse embryo paraffin sections at different stages of pregnancy from E11 to E18 in coronal orientation. Whole embryos are coronally sectioned from head to tail to include some embryo tissues (organs) such as brain, eye, heart, pituitary, limbs, tooth, neuronal tube, ovary, and testis. Embryos are fixed in 4% paraformeldehyde or 10% neutral buffered formalin, embedded in paraffin blocks, sectioned at a thickness of 5-7 microns at the site of each embryo organ and mounted on positively charged slides (2-3 sections per slide).
Tissue sections are routinely made of CD1 mouse embryos but we also can make tissue sections of other mouse strains (inbred, outbred, mutant, hybrid, transgenic) upon request.
Paraffin sections are shipped in tightly closed slide boxes or slide mailers at room temperature and are good for one year if properly stored.
Applications: Paraffin tissue sections are prepared in RNase-, protease-free environment and are ideal for immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization.
Custom Research Services: If you are interested in paraffin tissue sections of any mouse embryo tissue (organ) of any strain or required tissue sections to be specifically prepared to meet your application, please contact technical support at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 858 546 0720 for more information.
