Tissues are quickly harvested from Rhesus monkey and
prepared for embedding in paraffin for microtome sectioning Tissues are fixed in 10% neutral buffered
formalin, sectioned at a thickness of 5-7microns, and mounted on slides treated for adhesion
(1-2 sections per slide).
Paraffin sections are prepared in RNase- and DNase-free
environment and are ideal for immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization.
