Zyagen offers high quality intact total RNA, DNA, and total protein simultaneously isolated of the same tissue of C57BL/6 mouse or Sprague Dawley rat. RNA is ideal for Northern blotting, ribonuclease protection assay, SI nuclease assay, RT-PCR analysis, rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE) and purification of mRNA for library construction. All RNA samples are treated with RNase-free DNase to remove residual DNA, precisely quantified, and stored at -80oC. The integrity of each RNA sample as indicated by intact 28S and 18S ribosomal RNA is verified by denatured agarose gel electrophoresis. The purity of RNA is assessed by spectrophotometer (A260/A280: 1.9-2.1). It is provided in RNase-free water, 1mM sodium citrate, or 0.1 mM EDTA at a concentration of 1 mg/ml. DNA samples are suitable for PCR, Southern blot analysis, and DNA library construction. Samples are treated with DNase-free RNase to remove contaminant RNA and provided in 1.5-ml tubes at a concentration of 1mg/ml in TE buffer. The quality of protein as indicated by the absence of smear (no degradation) and sharpness and resolution of the protein bands are verified by denatured SDS-PAGE with Coomassie blue staining. Zyagen offers a pure and intact high molecular size control genomic DNA of more than 40 different species (male and female). Genomic DNA is extracted from whole blood or tissues of single donor and treated with DNase-free RNase to remove contaminant RNA. Genomic DNA is measured by Nanodrop (a spectrophotometer technology, not by fluoreometer/Qubit) and provided in 1.5-ml tubes at a concentration of 0.5mg/ml or 1mg/ml in TE buffer. Tissues are freshly dissected and homogenized in modified modified protein lysis buffer supplemented with a cocktail of 7 protease inhibitors to minimize proteolysis. Protein is stable for one year if stored properly at -70oC. The quality of protein as indicated by the absence of smear (no degradation) and sharpness and resolution of the protein bands are verified by denatured SDS-PAGE with Coomassie blue staining. The PCR-ready to use first strand cDNA is synthesized from high quality RNA isolated from a wide variety of rat, mouse, cat, dog, human, monkey, rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, pig, minipig, bovine, sheep, chicken, equine, and plant tissues. RNA Isolation Kits
Zyagen total RNA isolation Kit provides a rapid method for the isolation and purification of total RNA from a wide range of sources, including animal cells and tissues, plant tissues and bacteria. RNA extraction is based on disruption of cells in guanidinium thiocyanate detergent solutions, followed by organic extraction and alcohol precipitation of the RNA. All reagents needed for isolatation, analysis, and storage of RNA are included, making kit of an excellent value. The kit isolate all sizes of RNA, from large mRNA and ribosomal RNA, microRNA (miRNA) and small interfering RNA (siRNA). The purified RNA may be used for analysis by Northern blot, RNase protection, primer extension, RT-PCR/real-time PCR, in vitro translation, and for construction of cDNA libraries.
