Product Description

Sprague Dawley Rat full length brain regions cDNA panel of 10 brain regions is your choice of any 10 cDNA samples (10 reactions each). The cDNA of each tissue is made of RNA extracted from freshly harvested tissues of single healthy normal donor using classical guanidine isothiocyanate phenol: chloroform extraction method. RNA is treated with RNase-free DNase-1 to remove residual DNA. The cDNA is primed with oligo dT primer.

Quality Control:
The integrity of each RNA sample as indicated by intact ribosomal RNA is verified by denatured agarose gel electrophoresis. The purity of RNA is assessed by NanoDrop (A260/A280: 1.9-2.1). Residual DNA contamination is tested by PCR.
The synthesized cDNA is also tested as template for PCR amplification of ß-actin gene. PCR product of ß-actin was visualized on 1% agarose gel.

Applications:
cDNA is ideal for gene expression analysis by PCR, characterization of alternative splicing of mRNA, verification of genetic mutation, gene cloning and target sequencing.

Packing/shipping:
Each cDNA sample is routinely shipped on dry ice in 1.5 ml vials (10ul each) and is enough for 10 reactions (10 PCR amplifications).
